Painting Sold for The Kids' Cancer Project
Recently I started fundraising for The Kids' Cancer Project. They are an amazing Australian charity with a mission "To support bold scientific research that has the greatest chance of clinical success in the improvement of treatments of childhood cancer.'' They stand for "Science, Solutions and Survival'', raising vital funds for scientific research to find treatment solutions for childhood cancer to ultimately save lives.
Uniting with The Kids' Cancer project is very personal and heart felt for me. In 2017 my own baby daughter was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Watching her horrific battle and those of many children I have met I understand how desperately advancements in childhood cancer treatments are needed.
In September in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and in memory of the children tragically lost to cancer I held an online Fundraising Auction of my painting "Mother Nature Dreaming.'' I am delighted to announce the auction was a success my painting selling for $650. I was extremely grateful to be able to donate 100% of the sale to The Kids' Cancer Project.
My next fundraising project is now underway with the arrival of ''Mother Nature Dreaming Prints'' to my online shop. Printed with high quality pigment inks they meet archival standards and are perfect for collecting. They are printed on superb smooth, cotton rag paper and come in sizes A4, A3 and A2. With each print sold 50% of the sale price will be donated to The Kids' Cancer Project.

I will now be able to regularly donate the funds I raise from selling the prints to The Kids' Cancer Project via my "Fundraising Page''. No amount is too small, it all adds up to equal enormously valuable steps in the direction of a cure.
