Collection: Fundraising For "The Kids' Cancer Project"

In July 2020 Tania Lucas became an "Authorized Fundraiser" for "The Kids' Cancer Project" an Australian Childhood Cancer Charity.  Tania started her fundraising project "Tania Lucas Art For Kids With Cancer" with a goal of selling various pieces of art to raise funds to contribute to Childhood Cancer treatment research. "The Kids' Cancer Project" mission is "To support bold science that has the greatest chance of clinical success to improve childhood cancer treatments."  Their moto is "Science, Solutions, Survival" and their vision "To see 100% survival rate for children with cancer while eradicating the harmful impacts treatment can bring"

"In 2017 my baby daughter was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive Cancer.  Immediately she was admitted to hospital where she stayed for 10 months.  Living by her bedside I saw her endure enormous pain and suffering as she fought for her life.

While in the hospital I met many incredible children battling cancer and their families.  Devastatingly I also learned how desperately advancements in childhood cancer treatment are needed.  Relapsing three times my daughter quickly exhausted all available treatment options.  Classified as "incurable" she then endured years of chemotherapy as a outpatient.  Incredibly and thankfully she is currently defying all expectations.  Heartbreakingly some of the children we became friends with also ran out of treatment options devastatingly losing their battles with cancer.  Not a day goes by when I don't think of these beautiful children and their families."

Fundraising Auction of ''Mother Nature Dreaming'' original painting:

In September in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and in memory of the children tragically lost to cancer I held an online Fundraising Auction of my painting "Mother Nature Dreaming.'' The auction was a success my painting selling for $650, 100% of the sale price was donated to The Kids' Cancer Project.

''Mother Nature Dreaming'' prints (Fine Art Inkjet Giclee Prints) can now be purchased. Printed with quality pigment inks they meet archival standards and are perfect for collecting or just enjoying.  They are printed on superb smooth, cotton rag paper and come in sizes A4, A3, A2 and A1. With each print sold 50% of the sale price will be donated to The Kids' Cancer Project.

Floral Mini Fundraising Paintings:

In September 2021 to acknowledge "Childhood Cancer Awareness Month" and to raise vital funds for The Kids Cancer Project Tania released five Floral Mini Paintings My Sunshine, Jungle Dream, Gerbera Blooms, Oriental Lily Magenta and Blue and Hope.  Each of these painting is a "one of a kind" original, acrylic paint on stretched canvas 20cm X 25cm.
